On the most basic level, yoga means “to yoke” or unite. FishHawk Yoga and Wellness thinks of yoga as a practice that yokes breath and movement, body and mind, self and the world. We will use yoga as a tool to set new intentions and plan actions to transform ourselves.  


As a student, you will learn structural integration, meditation, and breathwork, and how yoga can support your body and mind wellness.


This will evolve and change as your needs change. Don’t let it seem overwhelming. There is a basic architecture and general shapes to yoga, but the alignment of yoga is personal and differs from person to person. Each person is unique and yoga is for us all.

Fishhawk Yoga and Wellness offers gentle yoga classes that provide a mindful, restorative experience. Through a combination of breathing techniques, stretching postures, and intentional relaxation, our experienced instructors will guide you on the path towards physical and mental wellness.
